Hamilton's hot shooting leads JWCC to victory

Brad Hamilton made six 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead the John Wood Community College men's basketball team to an 85-49 victory over the Quincy University junior varsity Sunday afternoon at the Student Activity Center.

Hamilton was 6 of 9 from behind the arc, while JWCC was 10 of 20 as a team.

The Trail Blazers opened the second half with a 22-8 run. It was capped off by T.J. Tisdell's layup for a 63-30 lead with 10 minutes, 45 seconds left in the game.

A'Darius Porter scored 15 points, all in the first half, to help JWCC (7-2), while James Lane grabbed 10 rebounds and Michael Roy added five assists.

Randy Reed scored 19 points to lead the Hawks, and Brandyn Chambers added 11.
