To The Herald-Whig:

The third annual Birthright Trivia Night recently held at St. Dominic's Gym was a huge success thanks to all the hard working volunteers and caring and generous businesses who donated to this very important service agency.

Since Birthright is a crisis pregnancy center that operates solely from donations, it is with deep appreciation from all the volunteers and clients served that we say "thank you!"

A big thanks to Father Tom and St. Dominic School for allowing us to use their gym. It was much more spacious and allowed for us to comfortably seat more teams. It would be impossible to serve our community to the extent that we are able without their constant and ongoing support. To our local celebrity lifelines who again this year were a unique twist and a fun addition for those tables lucky enough to win them for their special category. Sports Upsets, Music, Weather, Quincy History, Children's books and Nursery Rhymes and "What's up Doc?" were just a few of our fun categories offered for raffle.

To our esteemed panel of judges for returning again this year and once again giving your time and talent!

Our silent auction was a constant buzz of activity with people hoping to win that special Christmas gift or item for themselves since we had over 100 great items for them to bid on.

Space limits who I can recognize but I want to say a big thank you to David Adam our chairman and emcee for the night and Stacey Arnold who spent countless hours putting together our silent auction.

We are already planning and looking forward to our even bigger and better Birthright Trivia for next year! As an added incentive to sign your team up early for next year's Nov. 2, Trivia night, we are offering each team a chance in our raffle for a free table to any team that will sign up now. Teams must be paid up two weeks prior to the event.
