Artist Jennifer Bock-Nelson has been hired by the Quincy Public Library for a mural project in the children's section of the library.

Nelson says this is one of several public art projects she's been asked to create.

The project will feature a three-dimensional forest scene and a bridge scene. In the puppet room, she plans to paint trees representing the four seasons.

In this photo, she's painting a snow-covered evergreen.
