Adams County Jail inmate hospitalized after suicide attempt

An unidentified inmate at the Adams County Jail was taken to Blessing Hospital Friday after apparently attempting suicide.

Adams County Sheriff Brent Fischer said the individual's identity is not being released.

Fischer said the inmate was listed in stable condition at the hospital. The person's emergency contact will be notified with additional details.

No other information was provided.
