Quincy Police seek information about hit-and-run accident on North Fifth

A 32-year-old Quincy woman was injured when she was struck by a vehicle in the 1400 block of North Fifth about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The driver fled the scene, heading south on North Fifth.

The woman was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. Her name and condition were not being released by the Quincy Police Department.

The woman was found lying in the road near Fifth and Maple when police arrived.

The vehicle that struck the woman is described as a dark blue or black Chrysler.
