Palmyra driver injured in crash on U.S. 61

PALMYRA, Mo. -- A Palmyra driver sustained minor injuries in a one-car accident on U.S. 61, six miles north of Palmyra, at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday.

Angela L. Eichor, 37, was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. for treatment.

Eichor was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix south on U.S. 61 when it slid off the right side of the highway, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Also assisting was the Marion County Fire Department.
