Scouting the Senators: The Senators are going through some growing pains, seeing their losing streak extended Friday night with a 77-64 Central State Eight Conference loss to Springfield Lanphier. Springfield will throw size at Quincy with 6-foot-6 sophomore Obediah Church, and the backcourt of Tavion Kincaid and Avery Pearl can cause problems with their quickness and defensive tenacity.

Good in the end:
After opening the season shooting 70 percent from the line, the Blue Devils have made just 60.3 percent the last two games. However, they are still solid down the stretch. Quincy has gone 15 of 21 from the line in the closing minutes in the last two games.

The series:
Quincy leads 45-24 all-time and has won six of the last 10 meetings.
