Salvation Army sets Christmas baskets, toys distribution dates

Quincy distribution of Christmas baskets and toys will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, in the former Quincy Discount Carpet at 224 S. Eighth St. All distributions are by appointment only.

The Hannibal, Mo., distribution will take place on Friday, Dec. 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 306 Broadway in Hannibal.

All distributions are for families who have approved applications on file with the Salvation Army and for whom an appointment has been made.

Toy donations are still needed and can be dropped off in the bins at collection sites located at the Quincy Mall (Sears and JC Penney), Hy-Vee stores, Broadway Vision, Dollar General at Sixth and Maine, Farm & Home Supply, Wal-Mmart, Y101, KHQA-TV or the Kroc Center.
