Jerry and Barbara Hagmeier

Jerry and Barbara Hagmeier of 2732 Wild Horse Estates are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner, hosted by their children. A celebration will be held at a later date.

The couple was married Dec. 15, 1962, in Bethany Church in Tioga.

Mrs. Hagmeier is the former Barbara Wollbrink, daughter of the late Lester and Evalyn Wollbrink of Sutter. Mr. Hagmeier is a son of the late Melvin and Helen Hagmeier of Keokuk, Iowa.

They are the parents of Shawn (Kristi) Hagmeier of St. Louis, Cheryl Hagmeier of Quincy and Cynthia (Michael) Warnes of Chicago. They have three grandchildren.

Mr. Hagmeier retired from John Wood Community College and volunteers at both JWCC and Blessing Hospital.

Mrs. Hagmeier retired from Blessing Hospital.

They are members of Trinity United Church of Christ where they both have held various offices.
