John and Patricia Holm

John H. and Patricia Kelly Holm of 701 Ashley observed their 60th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

The couple was married June 21, 1952, at St. Bride's Catholic Church in Chicago.

Mrs. Holm is the former Patricia Kelly, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Patrick Kelly. Mr. Holm is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Nelson Holm.

Mr. Holm is a lifelong radio announcer and news reporter. He joined WTAD-AM 930 radio upon moving to Quincy in 1970. He is a model railroad enthusiast and avid Chicago Cubs fan growing up near Wrigley Field.

Mrs. Holm retired as a customer service representative from J.M. Winters Insurance Agency in Quincy. She is a member of the Secular Franciscans and a parishioner of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church.

The couple met while working together in Chicago at the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board office.
