Vigil Friday at JWCC for Sandy Hook victims

An hourlong vigil for the Sandy Hook shooting victimes will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 on the front grassy area of John Wood Community College at 48th and Harrison.

The vigil will be held in remembrance of the 20 children and six adults killed in the massacre last week at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., as well as the shooter and his mother. Participants are asked to bring a candle or flashlight.
