There were two more water main breaks Sunday in Quincy.

The first break came at 20th and Maple and affected customers on Maple between 20th and 23rd, and 22nd Street between Sycamore and Locust. The second was on Lewis Drive. Customers affected were on Lewis Drive between 33rd to 35th streets.

Repairs started Sunday. A 48-hour boil order is recommended for anyone affected by the interruption of service.

On Saturday night, part of 30th Street near Broadway was shut down because of a water main break. An area on North 30th from Broadway to the entrance to the Quincy Mall was closed. The left-turn lane for eastbound traffic on Broadway was closed. Crews were on the scene for most of Sunday.

On Friday, part of State Street between 24th and 30th Street was closed because of a water main break. Last week, a portion of Harrison Street between 18th and 20th also was closed because of a break.
