Crime of the Week: Equipment theft

Quincy Regional Crime Stoppers needs your assistance in solving a case involving the theft from a business.

Sometime between Dec. 1-13, the owner of a business in the 500 block of Kentucky reported a Sullivan D pull-behind compressor, two 90-pound Kent jack hammers and a 60-pound Kent jack hammer were stolen from the business or from a job site in the 600 block of Vermont. The items are valued at about $8,600.

Cooper, a golden doodle, is teacher Erin Armbruster's trained therapy dog, and his pawprints reach beyond just her classroom. "He helps out the students.
