Youth Mass: A citywide youth Mass will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1119 S. Seventh in Quincy. Officiating the Mass will be Monsignor Michael Kuse. The Mass is held the first Sunday of every month. Nick and Jill Steinkamp and other musicians will provide music. Young people, adults and families are welcome and encouraged to attend. Following the Mass, the Servants With A Testimony youth group will meet at the Life Teen House at Seventh and Adams. For information, call (217) 242-2467.



Ceremony: Central Baptist Church, Seventh and Broadway in Quincy, will host a special covenant renewal ceremony at 8:30 and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Worshipers will be invited to renew their faith in God and God's covenant with the church. In the past 179 years, Central Baptist Church has enrolled more than 9,000 members. Workshop: A multiparish kickoff workshop featuring Cooper Ray will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Quincy Notre Dame High School, 1400 S. 11th in Quincy. Junior and senior high school students, college students and families are invited to attend. Cooper is a dynamic and lighthearted speaker and musician who has entertained, motivated and inspired youth and adults at events across the country, according to a news release. There is no charge to attend; a free-will offering will be accepted.
