A water main broke about 9 a.m. Wednesday at 25th and College.

Water service was expected to be interrupted for four to six hours for customers on College from 24th Street to Oakland Avenue, Kenwood Avenue from College to Elm, and Forrest Avenue from College to Elm.

Once service is restored, a 48-hour boil order will be in place.
