Charges filed

Tyrone D. Holliday, 45, of 401 Elm, was charged with unlawful restraint stemming from a Dec. 16 incident.

Stephen T. Ballinger, 26, of Quincy, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine stemming from a Dec. 29 incident.

Stacey J. Mayfield, 42, of Loraine, was charged with intimidation, mob action and aggravated assault stemming from a Dec. 30 incident.

Dennis A. Valenzuela, 43, of 1256 Jersey, was charged with violation of an order of protection stemming from a Dec. 27 incident.

Clinton M. Ames, 32, of Hull, was charged with aggravated battery, domestic battery and resisting a peace officer stemming from a Dec. 25 incident.

Shelby D. Wires, 20, of 1820 Luxury Lane, was charged with theft over $500 stemming from a March 1 incident.


Quincy Police

Thefts, burglaries

A maroon Asus Notebook was taken from a residence in the 1300 block of North 26th the morning of Dec. 27.

Fifteen CDs and some change were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of North Eighth between Dec. 28-31.

Door to a residence in the 2300 block of Chestnut was kicked in between Dec. 22-26. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Texas Roadhouse gift card was taken from an apartment in the 1600 block of S. 24th on Dec. 24.

A purse and its contents were taken from the costume department of the Quincy Community Theatre in the Oakley-Lindsay Center between 2:30-3:30 p.m. Jan. 3.
