The parents of Paige Lynn Griffith and Evan Christian Obrock have announced the couple's engagement.

The bride-elect, of Indianapolis, is a daughter of Angel Young of Quincy and Joe Griffith of Hannibal, Mo. She graduated from Quincy High School in 2008, from John Wood Community College in Quincy in 2011 with an associate's degree, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

The prospective bridegroom, also of Indianapolis, is a son of Paul and Ellen Obrock of Quincy. He graduated from Quincy High School in 2008 and from Butler University in Indianapolis in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in international business and management information systems. Mr. Obrock is a systems analyst for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Indianapolis.

A May 4 wedding is planned.

It had been several years since Baker, an all-stater as a senior at Pittsfield High School, had seen the game. "I sure was awful skinny, and those shorts were awful short," he said with a laugh. "But it was neat to watch. It's kind of a blur, but I can remember plays that were called in every game. It's so surreal."
