Spirit Knob Winery in Ursa was the setting for the Nov. 3 wedding of Miss Kristin Hillebrenner and Jeff Hamby, both of Quincy.

The bride is a daughter of Gary and Lori Yates of 1007 Gerard Ave. The bridegroom is a son of James and Connie Hamby of 1423 S. 27th.

The Rev. Tony Metz of Luther Memorial Church conducted the 12:30 p.m. ceremony.

Matron of honor was Kim Danker. Bridesmaid was Katelyn Hamby, daughter of the bridegroom.

Best man was Austin Hamby, son of the bridegroom. Groomsman was Bart Fellwock.

A dinner reception began at 3 p.m. in Tiramisu.

The newlyweds are at home in Quincy and plan a tropical honeymoon.

The bride graduated from Quincy High School in 1999, from John Wood Community College in 2001 with an associate of arts degree, and from Quincy University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree. She is a special education teacher for the Quincy Public Schools.

The bridegroom graduated from Quincy High School in 1987 and from Vatterott Technical School in 1997 with a degree in heating and air conditioning. He is maintenance director for Palmyra R-1 Schools and serves in the Air Force Reserves.
