Quincy man arrested for predatory criminal sexual abuse

A Quincy man was arrested Monday on an outstanding warrant for predatory criminal sexual abuse. James Edward Coons, 62, was arrested without incident at his residence. He is accused of abusing a child between the ages 7 and 12 from 2002 through 2007. He is being lodged in the Adams County Jail.
