The parents of Michelle Waelder and Nathan Bozarth have announced the couple's engagement. She is a daughter of John and Alice Waelder of 419 N. 15th. He is a son of John and Paulette Bozarth of 601 S. 45th.

The bride-elect, of 1318 Gayla Drive, is a 2004 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Quincy University. She is employed by Blessing Hospital.

The prospective bridegroom, also of 1318 Gayla Drive, is a 2004 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. He is employed by the Bank of Quincy.

An April 13 wedding is planned in St. Francis Catholic Church.
