Miss Heather Nicole Dietrich and Devin Edward Buss were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Nov. 10 in St. Anthony Catholic Church.
The bride is a daughter of Dennis "Gus" and Jeanne Dietrich of 1077 E. 1453rd Lane, Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Kevin and Pam Buss of 1327 N. 26th.
Mr. Dietrich gave his daughter in marriage; the Rev. Tom Hagstrom and Deacon Harry Cramer officiated. Music was provided by Steve Buckman, pianist, and Ashleigh Wisslead, vocalist. Also participating in the ceremony were Evelyn Dietrich, grandmother/godmother of the bride, Karolyn Buss, aunt/godmother of the bridegroom, George Barry, grandfather/godfather of the bride, and John Sullivan, uncle/godfather of the bridegroom, gift bearers; Rick Sullivan, uncle of the bridegroom, reader; and Marilyn Barry, grandmother of the bride, and Mary Kay Sullivan, aunt of the bridegroom, Eucharistic ministers.
Matron of honor was Amber Wiemelt, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Erin Davison, Jessica Kelley and Cori Moore.
Best man was Cody Azotea. Groomsmen were Kraig Buss, brother of the bridegroom, and Adam Moore and Nick Kelley.
Ushers were Derek Smith and Tyler Stark.
Flower girl was Elle Sullivan, cousin of the bridegroom, and ring bearers were Bentley and Brayden Householder.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents Nov. 9 in the North Side Boat Club. A reception was held from 7 to 11 p.m. in the Ambiance.
The newlyweds are at home in Quincy and plan a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, at a later date.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Liberty High School and earned an associate's degree from John Wood Community College and a bachelor's degree from Quincy University. She is employed in the fleet services department at Knapheide Manufacturing Co.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Quincy High School and attended JWCC. He is a groundskeeper for Blessing Hospital and a member of the North Side Boat Club and Adams County Volunteer Emergency Corps.
