The engagement of Leena Barry and Tyler Terwelp, both of Quincy, has been announced by their parents. She is a daughter of Jim and Julia Barry of Liberty. He is a son of Sherri Terwelp and Ray and Margie Terwelp, all of Quincy.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Liberty High School and a 2009 graduate of Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. She is an optometric assistant.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2008 graduate of John Wood Community College. He is an electrician.

A May wedding is planned in Quincy.
