Mr. and Mrs. Ryan M. Kenady are at home in Mendon after their marriage Nov. 16 in the United Methodist Church in Loraine.

The bride is the former Miss Jill L.M. Smith of Mendon, daughter of David Smith of Taylor, Mo., and Marjorie Smith of Troy, Mo. The bridegroom is a son of Barb and Lyle Kenady of Mendon.

Parker Warning, son of the bridal couple, gave the bride in marriage during the 4 p.m. ceremony conducted by Oliver Truebe.

Matron of honor was Jessica Gray of Loraine. Bridesmaids were Susie Wray and Janel Shaffer, both of Ursa, Emily Shaffer of Quincy and the bridegroom's sister, Kelley Kenady of Macomb.

Best man was Matt Kenady of Lacon, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Scott Wray of Ursa, Luke Gray of Loraine, Dan Shaffer of Quincy and Daryl Stoll of Mendon.

Ushers were Ken Gray of Loraine and Lewis Sill of Mendon, cousin of the bridegroom.

Ring bearers were Kash and Kruze Kenady, sons of the bridal couple.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Nov. 15 in Tony's Too. A reception began at 7 p.m. in the Ambiance.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Palmyra High School and a 2011 graduate of Quincy University. She is an office manager/accountant at Bennett and Middendorf Ltd. in Quincy.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Unity High School and a 2004 graduate of Black Hawk College. He is self-employed as the owner of Wash Tech.

Tony Baker recently watched a video of the 1991 Class A state championship game with his 11-year-old daughter. It had been several years since Baker, an all-stater as a senior at Pittsfield High School, had seen the game. "I sure was awful skinny, and those shorts were awful short," he said with a laugh. "But it was neat to watch. It's kind of a blur, but I can remember plays that were called in every game. It's so surreal."
