After honeymooning in Paris, France, Mr. and Mrs. Todd M. Smith are at home in Quincy.
Mr. Smith and the former Miss Tera R. Motley, both of Quincy, exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m. Aug. 4 in St. Anthony Catholic Church.
The bride is a daughter of John and Becky Motley of Barry and Roger and Dinah Davidson of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Paul and Kay Smith of Quincy.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents; the Rev. Thomas Hagstrom officiated. Music was provided by Bob and Bonnie Nytes, guitarists/vocalists, and Nan Wood, pianist. Also participating were Amanda Smith, Dorothy Smith and Kelly Lister, readers; Ginny and Sarah Steinkamp, servers; Ron Smith, Bern Bartos and Dorothy Smith, Eucharistic ministers; and Ron Smith and Becky Harris, gift bearers.
Maid of honor was Jenelle Davidson of Quincy, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Wendy Steinkamp of Quincy, sister of the bridegroom, and Nichole Cawthon of Barry, Jennifer Brace of East Peoria, Alicia Stupavsky of Liberty, Lyann Ritter of Cairo, Mo., and Tamila Schmits of Quincy. Junior bridesmaid was Kinsey Johnson of Quincy, daughter of the bride.
Best man was Scott Smith of Quincy, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Paul Smith of Payson, brother of the bridegroom; Matthew Motley of Dubuque, Iowa, brother of the bride; Bryant Brace of East Peoria; Scott Stupavsky of Liberty; Shawn Hufendick of Willoughby, Ohio; and Adam Steinkamp of Quincy. Junior groomsman was Kyler Smith of Payson, nephew of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Dale Steinkamp, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Norman Kallner, both of Quincy.
Flower girls were Laura Steinkamp, niece of the bridegroom, and Victoria Smith, godchild of the bridegroom, both of Quincy. Ring bearers were Connor Brace of East Peoria, godchild of the bridegroom, and Liam Johnson of Quincy, son of the bride.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 in the Patio. A dinner reception began at 6 p.m. in the Machinists Lodge.
The bride earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Quincy University. She is a substitute teacher.
The bridegroom earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering technology from Bradley University. He is employed by CenturyLink in Palmyra, Mo.
