St. Francis Catholic Church was the setting for the Oct. 27 wedding of Danielle Marie Zopf and Nicholas Todd Mercer, both of 3300 Center Drive.
The bride is a daughter of Brian and Donna Zopf of 3208 Gross Gables. The bridegroom is a son of Lee Mercer of Ursa and Todd Mercer of Berwick, La.
The bride was given in marriage by her father during the 1 p.m. ceremony conducted by Deacon Wayne Zimmerman.
Maid of honor was Rosemary Waelder. Bridesmaids were Bobbi Mercer, sister of the bridegroom; Lydia Zopf, sister-in-law of the bride; Diane Zimmerman; and Shari Olandese.
Best man was Joshua Mercer, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Bradley Zopf, brother of the bridegroom, and Drew Stupavsky, Kyle Liggett, Nick Willer and Jordan Wetzel.
Ushers were Steve Nichols and Brock Hunt. Junior usher was Brody Mercer, nephew of the bridegroom.
Leaf thrower was Ronnie Moore III, and ring bearer was Brendan Mercer, both nephews of the bridegroom.
A rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 26 in Jorge the Crook's, hosted by the bridegroom's mother. A reception began at 6 p.m. in the Elks Club. On Oct. 28, a gift opening was held in the Stoney Creek Inn.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Costa Rica and are at home at 3300 Center Drive.
The bride earned a master's degree in social work and is a residential therapist at Chaddock.
The bridegroom was honorably discharged from the National Guard after a deployment to Iraq. He is pursuing an accounting degree at Western Illinois University.
