LaGrange driver injured in accident near Maywood

A LaGrange driver was slightly injured at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in a one-car accident on Route V, a half mile east of Maywood.

Ryan D. Schroder, 29, was taken by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., for treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2009 Ford Focus was traveling west when it veered off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Schroder was wearing a seat belt, police said.

Also assisting were the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and the Ewing Fire and Rescue.
