One arrested, another sought in Quincy meth bust

The West Central Illinois Task Force arrested a 24-year-old Quincy woman and is seeking a 26-year-old man who lived with her after a drug bust at 318 Milliners Alley in Quincy Wednesday night.

Ashley N. Stratman was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors after a search warrant was served at abut 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at her home. Stratman has been lodged in the Adams County Jail.

Agents are seeking Ricky O. Squires, who lived with Stratman, for similar charges.

Master Sgt. Patrick Frazier of the task force said two children reside at the location, but were with relatives at the time of the search. The Department of Children and Family Services will pursue an investigation on the children.

The Quincy Police Department and the Adams County Sheriff's Office assisted with the warrant.
