Zanger-Gibson

Miss Jayme Gibson and Ryan Zanger, both of Des Moines, Iowa, exchanged wedding vows Oct. 6 in Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ in Quincy.

The bride is a daughter of Jeff and Sandy Gibson of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Janice Vogel and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Zanger of Quincy.

The 4 p.m. ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Keela Nuemann; Mr. Gibson gave his daughter in marriage. Music was provided by Laura Kammerer, pianist, and Ashleigh Wisslead, soloist.

Matron of honor was Beth Hammer of Quincy, cousin of the bride. Maids of honor were Jillian and Jenna Gibson of Quincy, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Catie Gibson of Springfield, sister-in-law of the bride; Lindsay Zanger of Quincy, sister of the bridegroom; Molly Frese of Quincy, cousin of the bride; Jennifer Lammers of Florissant, Mo.; Nicole Martin of Atlanta, Ill., cousin of the bride; Ashley Mass of Quincy; and Sarah Courtney of Quincy, cousin of the bride.

Best men were Adam Sass of Bloomington and Andrew Scott of Quincy. Groomsmen were Joshua Gibson of Springfield, brother of the bride, and Dan Rottmann, Jeff Obert, Brad Mckee, Jordan Goehl, Tyler Kaufmann and Dave Corrigan, all of Quincy.

Ushers were Jay Zanger, cousin of the bridegroom, and Ed Zanger, uncle of the bridegroom, both of Quincy.

Flower girls were Lillian Gibson, niece of the bride, and Kennedy Geiselman, cousin of the bridegroom, both of Quincy. Ring bearers were Keiyran Zanger of Quincy, nephew of the bridegroom, and Jackson Martin of Atlanta, Ill., godchild of the bride.

Michael and Janice Zanger hosted a rehearsal dinner Oct. 5 in JJ's Catering. A reception was held in the Knights of Columbus Father McGivney Hall.

After honeymooning in Hill City, S.D., the newlyweds are at home in Des Moines.

The bride is a graduate of Quincy High School and Illinois State University with a bachelor of science degree in anthropology. She is an administrative assistant at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Quincy High School and Quincy University with a bachelor of science degree in computer science. He is a software developer at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines.
