Patricia Borrok of Novinger killed when vehicle lands in creek

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. -- A Novinger woman was killed Sunday morning when her car overturned into a creek off Route K about one-quarter of a mile south of Mo. 6 in Adair County.

Patricia L. Borrok, 67, was pronounced dead at 11:06 a.m. Sunday by Adair County Coroner Brian Noe. The Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville is handling initial arrangements.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Borrick was traveling south in a 1998 Chevrolet Tracker when it slid off the left side of the road, overturned into a creek and became submerged.

Assisting were the Adair County Sheriff's Department, Fire Responders, and Fire and Rescue.
