Keokuk woman injured in accident near Hamilton

HAMILTON, Ill. -- A Keokuk, Iowa, woman was injured in a Saturday night accident near Hamilton.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department reported that Alexis Runge, 23, was heading south on County Road 900E at 6:10 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree.

Runge was airlifted to Blessing Hospital in Quincy. She was ticketed for failure to wear a seat belt.

Assisting were the Hamilton Fire Department, Hancock County EMS and AirEvac.
