Crime of the Week: Gun used in homicide sought

Quincy Regional Crime Stoppers needs your assistance in recovering a handgun used in a homicide Jan. 3.

The shooting occurred about 3 p.m. in the 200 block of South 11th in Quincy. Police said the suspect, Vincent Carter, fled the scene on foot, heading northwest with the gun. He was arrested at a residence in the 700 block of North Fifth.
