Rosary: A rosary prayer service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes of Ghost Hollow at the Spring, 4507 Ghost Hollow Road in Quincy. The Rev. Lenten Services: Lenten services will begin Ash Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Coatsburg. The remainder of the Wednesday night services will be at 7 p.m., each preceded by a soup lunch at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on Feb. 20 Feb. 27, March 6, 13 and 20. There is no soup lunch on Ash Wednesday. There will be a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. March 28, and a 7 p.m. Good Friday service March 29. Easter, March 31, will see a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. followed by a breakfast for worshippers. There will be a 9 a.m. worship service.

Blood Drive: Faith Presbyterian Church, 24th and Monroe streets in Quincy, will have a blood drive at 9 a.m. Saturday. Traditional worship services will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday; a contemporary service will be at 11 a.m.
Brotherhood Banquet: The 49th annual Brotherhood Banquet sponsored by Bethel A.M.E. Church will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 in the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center, 639 York. The guest speaker will be Robert Gervasi, president of Quincy University. The evening will also include entertainment. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children. Feb. 8 is the deadline for reservations.
Concert: Beyond the Ashes, a vocal trio from Nashville, Tenn., will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Elvaston Community Church, 109 E. Ohio. The concert is free. A love offering will be taken. Refreshments will follow the concert. For information, call (217) 845-4981.
Dinner: A soul food dinner will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Park Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 215 W. Main Cross in Palmyra, Mo. A Black History Month program will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Rev. Mark Howard and the Park Chapel Adult Choir are hosts of the dinner. Suggested donations for the meal are $8 for adults and $4 for children.
Breakfast: The men's group of St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon will have their annual pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday in the church hall. Breakfast of pancakes and sausage, as well as biscuits and gravy, will be $7 for adults and $3 for children 10 years and younger. Fresh link and bulk sausage is also for sale, as well as pork chops, backbone, homemade headcheese and bacon.
Supper: Salem Church, Ninth and State streets in Quincy, will have a supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Shrove Tuesday. The meal will consist of all-you-can-eat pancakes, potato pancakes, sausage, applesauce and drink. Tickets are $6 and are available in the church office or at the door on the night of the event. Proceeds will help fund Salem youth group activities.
Fish Fries: St. Dominic and St. Anthony churches will have fish fries from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on alternate Fridays during Lent. Meal options include a whole catfish plate, including three sides, dessert and drink, $8; walleye plate, including three sides, dessert and drink, $8; and a fish sandwich with french fries, $4. Homemade pies and cake also will be available, as will carry-out orders. St. Dominic, 4100 Columbus Road in Quincy, will be host of the first fish fry on Feb. 15, March 1 and March 15. St. Anthony, 2223 St. Anthony Road in Quincy, will be host on Feb. 22, March 8 and March 22. Those attending the fish fries at St. Dominic are asked to use the east driveway.

Supper: Bethany United Church of Christ will have a soup supper from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Bethany UCC Hall in Tioga. The menu includes chili and vegetable soup, ham salad, chicken salad, peanut butter sandwiches, homemade desserts and drinks. The meal is offered for a free will donation, and proceeds will support the church's youth group.
Trivia Night: The Lutheran Church of St. John's will have its sixth annual family trivia night beginning at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 at the church, 3340 State in Quincy. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Lutheran Education Association Parents. Cost is $10 per person or $30 per family, ages 5 and older.
