Clarence woman, son suffer minor injuries in one-car accident

TENMILE, Mo. -- A Clarence woman and her son received minor injuries Friday morning during a one-car accident in Macon County.

Nichole M. Chick, 25, and her 5-year-old son were transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Macon County Ambulance after the wreck, which happened at 11:30 a.m. two miles south of Tenmile on Highway K.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Chick was traveling southbound on Highway K when the 1992 Toyota Corolla she was driving ran off the right side of the road, struck a utility pole brace cable and overturned. The car was totalled.

The Macon County Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
