The parents of Kaitlyn Rachel Hiland and Ryan Christopher Clayton have announced the couple's engagement. A June 15 wedding is planned in the United Methodist Church in Camden.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Ronald and Julie Hiland of Augusta. She graduated from Southeastern High School in Augusta in 2008 and from McDonough District Hospital School of Radiology in Macomb in 2010. Miss Hiland is an X-ray technologist at the Beu Health Center at Western Illinois University.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Charles and Martha Clayton of Camden. He graduated from Rushville-Industry High School in Rushville in 2008 and from Spoon River Diesel Tractor Technology in Canton, Ill., in 2010 with an associate's degree. Mr. Clayton is self-employed at Clayton Farm.
