The Kroc Center was the setting for the Oct. 20 wedding of Miss Katharine Marie O'Brien and Mathew Wayne Sanders.

The bride is a daughter of Marilyn and Scotty O'Brien of 3710 Talken Drive.

Mr. O'Brien gave his daughter in marriage during the 4:30 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. Dixie Koch. Reader was Kylle Munden, cousin of the bride.

Maid of honor was Melissa Brink of Quincy. Bridesmaids were Ashley Hoener of Quincy and Paige Parks of St. Clair, Mo.

Best man was Tim Middlebrooks of Carrollton, Texas. Groomsmen were Josh Jackson of Quincy and Chris Esterline of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Flower girl was Albany Wood and ring bearer was Bowdy Wood, both cousins of the bride.

The bride's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Oct. 19 in Tiramisu. A reception began at 7 p.m. in the State Room.

The newlyweds are at home in Quincy.

The bride is a graduate of Saint Louis University with a master of arts degree in counseling. She is employed by Chaddock.

The bridegroom is attending Quincy University after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
