The Red Cross stages a World War II USO Show at the Illinois Veterans Home Saturday as an early Valentine's Day gift from the Adams County Chapter.
Live Valentine theme music from the 1930s-50s was the theme and the "Andrew Sisters" made a special appearance.
In addition the local chapter of the ARC presented sound equipment to the home that was purchased through a military grant. The home will receive eight rechargable handheld wireless microphone systems including stands, and eight portable public address systems with iPod docks.
