Perry man arrested on drug charge after search of home

PERRY, Mo. -- A search warrant served at 500 E. Hill at 6 a.m. Tuesday led to one arrest and the confiscation of marijuana, electronic scales, cash and other drug-related paraphernalia.

Ralls County Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie said Lawrence Dean Neff, 50, of the Hill Street address, was arrested on a Class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Dinwiddie said Judge David Mobley issued an arrest warrant for Nett and set bond at $50,000. Nett remains lodged in the Pike County Jail in Bowling Green.

Assisting were the Perry Police Department, Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Hannibal Police Department's canine unit.
