Texas trucker injured in accident on snow-covered road

RENSSELAER, Mo. -- A Texas truck driver sustained minor injuries when his rig overturned at 9:10 p.m. Thursday off snow-covered Route H, four miles south of Rensselaer.

Andrew E. Brown, 24, of Lewisville, Texas, was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 International was northbound and became stuck on a snow-covered hill. Brown attempted to back down the hill, but the trailer slid off the road and the rig overturned. The Ralls County Sheriff's Department assisted.
