Thefts, burglaries

Ridgid brand one-half inch drill was taken from a rage in the 1400 block of College between Jan. 24-25.

Two Usb chargers and a camera were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of South 24th between Jan. 26-27.

Apple iMac computer was taken from a Springfield resident's car while it was parked in the 1600 block of VanBuren on Jan. 28.

Door was forced open to a garage in the 1000 block of Chestnut between Jan. 30-31. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Blue 96 Yamaha dirt bike, 40 goose decoys and a camouflage blind were taken from a garage on Ray Mar Court between Jan. 30-31.

Gray bookbag containing five Abeka school textbooks was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at 301 Oak on Feb. 1.

Window was broke on a truck while it was parked at 1025 Maine on Feb. 1.

Spare tire was taken from a 2006 Honda while it was parked on Cheswick Road between Nov. 1-Jan. 29.

Window was forced open and screen on a 2009 Heartland Northtrail camper while it was parked at Driftwood Campground, 2300 Bonansinga Drive in the past five weeks. Police did not indicate what if anything was taken.

Wallet was taken from a vehicle parked on Brook Drive between Jan. 12-13.

Alcohol and a bracelet were taken from a residence in the 1000 block of North 25th on Jan. 18.

Rim and tire were taken from behind a residence in the 2100 block of State between Jan. 31-Feb. 1.

Black Trek 3700 mountain bicycle was taken from the Harrison Pub between Feb. 4-5.

A 55-inch LG flat screen TV, seven PlayStation 3 games, a Xbox 360 game system and a PlayStation 3 game system were taken from an apartment in the 200 block of North 10th on Feb. 6.

A Fowler woman reported her iPod was taken while at Wal-Mart between 11:46-12:20 p.m. Feb. 1.

Vandalism

Two windows were broke in a residence in the 700 block of North Fourth at 4:06 a.m. Jan. 27.

Door on a garage in the 1100 block of Cherry was damaged on Jan. 30.

Bumper was damaged on a 1996 Chevrolet while it was parked at a residence in the 600 block of Payson Ave. on Jan. 28.

The dumpster at Ray's Auto Repair, 2001 College, was tipped over and bush on the parking lot was run over during the early morning hours of Feb. 2.

Flag pole at a residence in the 2500 block of Oak was knocked down by a vehicle between Feb. 2-3.

Drivers side mirror on a 1982 Mercury was broken while the car was parked in the 2700 block of Lind between Feb. 2-3.

Passenger side mirror on a 2005 Pontiac was broke off while it was parked near 20th and College between Feb. 2-3.

Both side mirrors were broken off a 1998 Chevrolet while it was parked in the 2900 block of Lind between Feb. 2-3.

Both side mirrors were broken off a 2003 Ford and the hood scratched while it was parked in the 2900 block of Lind between Feb. 2-3.

Drivers side mirror on a 2000 Ford was broke off while it was parked in the 2000 block of Cherry on Feb. 3.

Both side mirrors on a 2003 Ford were broken off while it was parked in the 2600 block of Elm between Feb. 2-3.

Hole was shot with a BB in a window of residence in the 1300 block of North 11th between Dec. 31-Feb. 1.

Rear drivers side fender and tailgate of a 2001 Dodge was spray painted while it was parked in the 500 block of Cherry between Feb. 3-4.

Hood of a 2001 Ford 350 work truck was spray painted while it was parked in the 500 block of Cherry between Feb. 1-4.

Rear window of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was shattered while the vehicle was parked in the 1700 block of Spruce between Feb. 1-4.

The side of a residence in the 1500 block of North Eighth and the passenger side of a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck were spray painted between Feb. 2-4.

Side of a residence in the 600 block of Cherry was spray painted between Feb. 3-4.

The side of a residence in the 1500 block of North Seventh was spray painted between Feb. 3-4.

Blue 1992 Ford Crown Victoria was spray painted while it was parked in the 1400 block of North Sixth between Feb. 3-4.

An apartment door was damaged on Feb. 5 in the 500 block of South Eighth in an apparent attempt to break in.

A 2010 Dodger Charger was spray painted while it was parked at Fifth and Chestnut between Feb. 3-4.

Two fires were punctured on a 2006 Chevrolet while it was parked in the 1300 block of Madison on Feb. 7.

A 1992 Traileman 20-foot flatbed trailer with Illinois license 9193AN was taken from the 1700 block of North 16th between Feb. 5-6.

Door to an apartment in the 2300 block of North 12th was kicked and damaged on Feb. 9.

Left outside mirror on a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck was broken while the truck was parked in the 700 block of South 10th between Feb. 8-9.

Red paint was sprayed on the left side of a 1993 Mitsubishi while it was parked in the 2000 block of Ohio between Feb. 8-9.

Rear quarter panel of a vehicle was damage while parked at apartment complex at 2225 N. 12th between Jan. 1-6.

Circuit Court

Charges filed

Kenneth E. Starman III, 41, of Loraine, was charged with mob action stemming from a Dec. 30 incident.

Shelli R. East, 41, of Golden, was charged with four counts of possession of methamphetamine precursors and one count of possession of a controlled substance stemming from an Oct. 31 Nov. 26 and Dec. 12, 2012 and Jan. 16 incidents.

John E. Mims, 23, of Kirksville, Mo., was charged with two counts each of home invasion, aggravated battery and criminal damage stemming from an Aug. 5 incident.

Beth A. Young, 48, of 644 State, was charged with aggravated battery stemming from a Jan. 27 incident.

Jeremy H. Yadon, 38, of 1229 Kentucky, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence and endangering the life or health of a child stemming from a Jan. 28 incident.

James L. Schroder, 31, of 304 1/2 Ohio, was charged with possession of methamphetamine stemming from an April 11, 2011 incident.

James C. Money, 20, of 524 S. Seventh, was charged with felony retail theft and obstructing justice stemming from a Jan. 22 incident.

Carrie J. Geiser, 35, of 1802 Kentucky, was charged with four counts of possession of methamphetamine precursors stemming from Dec. 1, 14 and 24, 2012 and Jan. 15 incidents.

Gwendolyn A. Brooks, 24, of 3100 State, was charged with burglary and aggravated battery stemming from a Jan. 30 incident.
