Richard and Lola Gronewold

Richard and Lola Gronewold of 2842 N. 2400th Ave., Golden, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner today in the Pier Restaurant, hosted by their children. A family vacation is also planned for a later date.

Mr. Gronewold and the former Lola Lee Leerhoff were married Feb. 24, 1953, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden.

Mrs. Gronewold is a daughter of the late Martin and Hattie Leerhoff. Mr. Gronewold is a son of Fannie Gronewold of Golden and the late Wilke Gronewold.

They are the parents of Robin (Gary) Ideus and Noel (Kathy) Gronewold, all of Golden. They have five grandchildren.

Mr. Gronewold is a farmer and an active member of the Golden Lions Club.

Mrs. Gronewold is employed by Ozark National Life Insurance and is an active member of the Chatton Home Extension.

They are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Golden, where Mr. Gronewold has served on the church board. They enjoy attending their grandchildren's sports activities and traveling.
