The engagement of Kendal Elizabeth Lewis and Mark Kendall Rowden, both of Chicago, has been announced by their parents.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Paul and Barb Lewis of Quincy. She is a 2001 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign with a degree in business administration. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Miss Lewis is employed by Grosvenor Capital Management in Chicago.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Hugh and Linda Rowden of Decatur. He is a 1997 graduate of Decatur Eisenhower High School, a 2001 graduate of the University of Iowa in Iowa City with a degree in economics, and a 2012 graduate of Lake Forest School of Management in Chicago with a master of business administration. He was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. Mr. Rowden is employed by Newedge in Chicago.

A spring wedding is planned in Quincy.
