Salt River Master Gardeners meeting Tuesday, March 5, in Palmyra

PALMYRA, Mo. — The Salt River Master Gardeners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Sesquicentennial Building in Palmyra.

Mike Roegge, crop systems educator for the University of Illinois Extension, Adams/Brown Unit, will present a program on growing asparagus.

The Salt River Master Gardeners is a group of Missouri master gardeners from Marion, Ralls, Monroe, Pike,and Lewis counties. One of the group's projects is to maintain a demonstration garden at the corner of Main and Bird Streets in Hannibal.
