The members of the Quincy Notre Dame girls basketball team show off their "basketball rings" as they pose for pictures moments before leaving the Kmart parking lot for their fire truck escort to an assembly at the school on Monday. A parent of one of the team members had promised last summer she would buy rings for the team if it won the state title. The Lady Raiders won their third consecutive state championship on Saturday by defeating Vernon Hills 62-45 to claim the Class 3A crown. (H-W Photo/Steve Bohnstedt)
