Advocacy Network for Children will host its annual fundraising event at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Ambiance, 5225 Kochs Lane.
The dinner, silent auction and live auction has a sock hop theme. The money raised will help daily operating costs of Advocacy Network for Children, which helps abused and neglected children in nine counties in West-Central Illinois.
A preview of the items for auction is available at advonet.org. Tickets are still available for $50 per person by calling 223-2272.
The Advocacy Network for Children operates the Court Appointed Special Advocates program, which recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to speak in the best interest of abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system. CASA volunteers represented 200 children in 2012 in Adams and McDonough counties.
The Children's Advocacy Center served 325 children last year.
