A Quincy teen was arrested Thursday night on two Adams County felony warrants.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reports that Dillon Ellis, 19, no known address, was arrested near 12th and Elm after a foot chase on warrants issued on an escape charge and a petition to revoke probation on a case of aggravated battery to a police officer.

The felony escape charge stemmed from failing to return to the Adams County Jail as required after Ellis pleaded guilty in the aggravated battery case.

Deputies assigned to his arrest warrant identified Ellis near 12th and Elm. A deputy initiated the arrest, and the foot pursuit ensued. Several deputies arrested Ellis within two blocks of where he was first spotted, and he was charged with resisting a police officer.

Ellis was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
