Jason Lewton

Jason Lewton joined The Herald-Whig as a copy editor in March 2013 and was promoted to editorial production coordinator in August 2014.

Prior to joining the staff, he served as art director for Missouri Lawyers Media, where he managed a six-person department and was responsible for the visual direction of four daily newspapers, two weekly newspapers, the company website and many annual magazines.

Jason previously served as lead designer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for four years and, prior to that, as visual editor of The Times of Northwest Indiana. He also worked as a designer at the Jacksonville Journal-Courier, as design editor of the Alton Telegraph and as a reporter at the Pike Press.
