Boll-Shade

Steven and Kathleen Boll of 2025 Harrison have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kylene Marie Boll, to Raleigh James Shade, both of Glen Carbon. He is a son of Randy Shade of Quincy and Mrs. Patty Tournear of Maywood, Mo.

The bride-elect graduated from Quincy High School in 2008, earned a registered nurse degree from John Wood Community College in 2010, and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 2012 from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She is a charge nurse at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Quincy High School in 2007 and earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from SIU-E in 2012. He recently completed an internship in mechanical engineering with Innoventor in St. Louis.

A June 1 wedding is planned in St. Peter Catholic Church in Quincy.
