Ray and Beulah Muegge

Ray and Beulah Muegge of Mendon celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner, hosted by their children.

Mr. Muegge and the former Beulah Sill were married March 16, 1963, at Loraine Christian Church.

Mrs. Muegge is a daughter of the late J. Edward and Georgia Sill. Mr. Muegge is a son of the late Chester and Viola Muegge.

They are the parents of Peggy (Brian) Duesterhaus and David (Peggy) Muegge of Mendon, Susan Muegge of Elk Grove Village and Brian (Heidi) Muegge of Ursa. A son, Steven, died in infancy. They have seven grandchildren.

Mr. Muegge is a retired farmer. He has served on the Adams County Fair Board, Adams County Soil and Water Conservation Board, Adams County Farm Bureau, Adams County Olde Tyme Association and the North Adams Historical Society.

Mrs. Muegge is a bus driver for the Unit 4 School District.

They are members of St. James Lutheran Church in Quincy and enjoy going to their grandchildren's activities and helping out with Honey Creek Kettle Korn.
