Johnnie and Adeline Tobias

Johnnie and Adeline Tobias of West Point are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner today in Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The couple would enjoy hearing from family and friends with a card shower. Cards may be sent to them at 335 North County Road 1900, West Point, IL 62380.

Mr. and Mrs. Tobias were married March 15, 1948, in Immanuel Lutheran Church near Basco.

They are the parents of Pauline (Eli) Shirey of rural Carthage, Duane (Peg) Tobias of rural Loraine, Gloria (Bill) Wavering of Palm Bay, Fla., Bill (Linda) Tobias of rural Carthage and Jeff (Terri) Tobias of Augusta; a son, Glen, is deceased. They have 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Tobias is a farmer and Mrs. Tobias is a homemaker.
