The Historic Quincy Business District has received a 2012 All Star Award from Constant Contact, a marketing advisor for more than half a million small organizations worldwide.

Constant Contact gives the awards to a select group of businesses and nonprofit organizations that leverage online marking tools to engage their customer base.

HQBD's results ranked among the top 10 percent of Constant Contact's international customer base.

"Having a communication tool such as this at our disposal makes us more effective as an organization," said HQBD Executive Director Travis Brown in a press release. "Being able to communicate with business owners, customers and the community in a professional and effective way has helped to keep the Historic Quincy Business District in a positive direction."

Constant Contact customers using either the company's Email Marketing or EventSpot tools are eligible for the award.
